BULLETIN: MONDAY, MAY 4TH, 2009

"PAUL, ROME AND THE KINGDOM OF GOD" Adult Christian Education program begins on Sunday, May 10th at  9:30am. This is an new and exciting 12 week DVD and open discussion class on the apostle Paul and his teachings within the framework of the Roman Empire. 


Weekly and Monthly Schedule:


  • Sunday Service of Holy Eucharist: 10:30 am
  • Adult Sunday School at 9:30am (12 Part series on "Paul, Rome and the Empire" begins on May 10th)
  • Nursery available during Sunday School and Holy Eucharist.
  • Pot luck lunch on 1st Sunday of each month after worship. DON'T MISS IT!!!!
  • Mid-Week Service of Holy Eucharist and Service of Healing -- 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:00pm. Next service will be on Wednesday, May 13th.
  • MEN'S MORNING PRAYER GROUP meets monthly on the 4th Wednesday at 7:00am with breakfast, prayer, meditation and conversation. Deacon Steve Shanks will provide the morning meditation on Wed., May 27th.
  • Free Beans and Rice Outreach Ministry on 1st Saturday of each month -- 9 am until 11 am. All are welcome.
  • Daughters of the King "Trinity Sisters Chapter" meets monthly on the 3rd Sunday after the 10:30 Eucharist.
  • Aluminum Can Recycling - Wed., Sat., & Sun.
                   
We re-cycle aluminum cans at the church to help support our outreach ministries.  Leave cans in bags at the side door of the church on Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday.

Statue of St. Francis of Assisi has recently been placed near the entrance
to the church and close to the area where an herb garden will be placed
in the spring of 2009.

 
Trinity Episcopal Church is one of 92 parishes and worshipping communities that form the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama. Trinity Church was re-established in 1995. Trinity Church has grown to a 50 member congregation of baptized members from throughout Chilton, Coosa, Shelby and Autauga Counties.

Adult Sunday School takes place every Sunday at 9:30am. The new 12 week series, "Paul, Rome and the Kingdom of God" begins on May 10th. Join us when you can. The Parish Nursery is open during this class.

FREE BEANS AND RICE DISTRIBUTION FOR JUN
On SATURDAY, JUNE 6TH, free uncooked beans and rice are distributed from 9am until 11am at the church. Additional food items will also be distributed as available. This is a monthly outreach ministry of Trinity Church.

MONTHLY MID-WEEK EUCHARIST AND HEALING SERVICE
On Wednesday, May 13th at 6:00pm and continuing on the second Wednesday of each month, there will be a simple service of Holy Eucharist and Healing Service followed by an informal "Soup Supper". The healing service includes anointing of the sick by the priest or deacon with blessed oil.

PRAYERS FOR THE SICK AND THOSE IN NEED ...include the following members of Trinity Church: Steve Patterson, Eileen Neeley, Pat King, Iella Vance, Wayne DeLoach. "May God's healing power surround your servants and restore them each to wholeness of mind, body and spirit. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen"
