Beans and Rice is a ministry rooted in simplicity, dignity, and love. As the first Beans and Rice ministry in the Diocese of Alabama, Trinity Episcopal Church has long been committed to meeting a basic human need—food—while offering compassion and community.

Through this ministry, neighbors receive nourishing meals and a reminder that they are seen, valued, and cared for. Beans and Rice is more than a meal; it is an expression of our faith in action, sharing God’s love one plate at a time and strengthening the bonds of our community. Trinity Beans and Rice is held the first Saturday of every month from 8am to 10am.

Laundry Love, in partnership with Suds R Us in Clanton, is a ministry of dignity, care, and community. By providing free laundry services, we help ease a practical burden while offering kindness, conversation, and support. Through Laundry Love, neighbors are reminded that they are seen, valued, and never alone—one load of laundry at a time.  Please contact us for event dates.
